Download of Service Pack 4 for STEP 7 V5.5

Installation Prerequisites:

• STEP 7 V5.5 (with or without Service Pack) 
• STEP 7 Professional 2010 (with or without Service Release)

I.e., for the installation of the Service Pack 4, it is necessary for STEP7 V5.5 or STEP 7 Professional 2010 to already be installed on your computer.

Please observe all information (What's New, special notices, etc.), which we have compiled for you in the Update entry with the ID 93842005.

Customers possessing a valid Software Update Service contract (SUS contract) for STEP 7 will automatically be mailed STEP 7 V5.5 incl. SP4 on DVD.

Customers possessing a valid Software Update Service contract (SUS contract) for STEP 7 Professional will automatically be mailed STEP 7 Professional Edition 2010 Service Release 4 on DVD.

If you want to switch to a new operating system, please note the following:

• A change of operating system with an already installed STEP 7 is not permitted / possible. Before switching the operating system, STEP 7 and any present option packages to STEP 7 have to be deinstalled.
• Prior to changing the operating system, the existing authorization / license key has to be secured with the program AuthorsW / Automation License Manager on disk / USB memory stick.
• If you want to switch to MS Windows 7 64-bit with STEP 7, the DVD of STEP 7 V5.5 SP1 or higher is required. 
• If you want to switch to MS Windows 7 64-bit with STEP 7 Professional, the DVD of STEP 7 Professional Edition 2010 SR1 or higher is required.

For customers without SUS contract, the following procurement options are available:
